It’s been a while since we posted and for that we apologise. However, as always, the chefs have been working hard to create mouthwatering dishes for you and our May menu is no different. Featuring prawns, white asparagus, fresh peas, rhubarb, hibiscus and beef short rib (not all on the same plate), we think this month’s menu really packs a punch. We are also acutely aware of the current rise in costs, so we wanted to our bit to enable you to continue to eat out with friends and family whilst still watching the pennies. Therefore, we have re-introduced our Pre-Theatre /Early Bird menu. This gives you the option to have 2- or 3-courses for £28 or £35 respectively from 5pm to 6:30pm Wednesday, Thursday & Friday. Take a look at the menu below: Starters Charred white asparagus, ponzu dressing, morels, black garlic mayo, coconut velouté, pistachio Prawns, farfalle, prawn bisque, fresh peas, basil oil Smoked pork belly, Jersey royals, caramelised onions, fennel salad, miso glaze Mains Harissa hasselback courgette, labneh, charred lettuce, courgette salad, dukka Salmon fillet, smoked haddock, cheddar mash, peas, herb crumb, fish jus Middle Eastern spiced chicken leg, butter bean purée, sweet & sour red onions, salsa verde Desserts Celeriac parfait, coffee caramel, chocolate sauce, hazelnut crumb Rhubarb, rose & hibiscus baked Alaska Affogato Cheese board - 14 We have also introduced a cocktail of the month, which this month is inspired by Ernest Hemingway and his love of daiquiris. Infused with lime, rum and hibiscus, the Ernest is not one to miss out on. And for those of you who don’t drink, The Lovecraft (named for fantasy writer H.P Lovecraft - a devout teetotaller) is full of all the same flavours but without the alcohol. There is just one week left of this menu, so we urge you to book in and try this menu before it's too late!
